Covers for Perfect Bound, Spiral Coil Bound, or Saddle-Stitched Books

Standard 10 pt. C1S - A heavy 10 mil cover paper, with a smooth, hard surface for the outside and uncoated surface on the inside. You’ll have a choice of three different coatings: Gloss UV is our default, but you can also choose Silk Laminate or Hi-Gloss Laminate.
12 pt. C1S - Just like the 10 pt. above, but 20% heavier. It’s a 12 mil cover paper, with a smooth, hard surface for the outside and uncoated surface on the inside. And, just like the 10 pt. above, you’ll be able to choose your coating: Gloss UV, Silk Laminate, or Hi-Gloss Laminate.

80# Smooth Cover - A heavy (11 mil) cover paper, with a smooth finish. No coating, no glossing ... for authors looking for a more basic, earthier feel for their covers.
80# Linen Cover - Similar to the 80# Uncoated Cover above, this has a subtle linen finish. It’s about 9.5 mil thick, which is still plenty thick enough. No coating, but the linen finish adds to the richness of your cover.
Leatherette Cover - An acrylic-coated paper with a pronounced leather embossed finish. Leatherette can’t be printed on. It’s either blank or Diamond 3D Foil stamped. Available in five colors.

Leatherette Options and Colors

Our 9 Pt Advantage Leatherette cover can be used on perfect bound books, spiral coil bound books, or saddle stitched books. This economical leather-like book cover option cannot be printed on, but can be customized with text or a simple design using Diamond 3D Foil.

Covers for Case Bound (Hardcover) Books

All of our hardcover materials are wrapped around heavy, warp-resistant book boards to make a very durable, hardcover book.

Standard 100# Gloss Text - We print your full-color cover on 100# Gloss Text, then laminate it with your choice of Silk or Hi-Gloss Laminate.
Pearl Linen (Cloth) - A beautiful yet economical cover material with a pronounced linen weave. Can be foil stamped or left blank (usually with a printed dust jacket). These high-quality covers are available in several bright, vibrant colors.

Leatherette Cover - An acrylic-coated paper with a pronounced leather embossed finish. Leatherette can’t be printed on. It’s either blank or Diamond 3D Foil stamped.
Leather Cover - Our ‘top-of-the-line’ cover option, this is a bonded leather made of 100% cowhide leather fibers. Its leather embossed finish makes a beautiful, rich-looking book cover. It may be a little more expensive than our other luxury covers, but it’s worth it. It can be foil stamped or left blank (usually with a printed dust jacket).
