While cloth and leather covers cannot be printed on, they can be foil-stamped or printed with Diamond 3D Printing. Which bring us to our foil options!
Diamond 3D Metallic Foil: Diamond 3D Foil gives text and design elements a shiny, raised metallic highlight that turns any cover into one that will really grab your reader’s attention. Choose from gold, silver, red, blue, green, rose gold, purple, or teal to compliment your cover design.
Diamond 3D Printing is also available in Clear Coat, which is a clear, raised coating that adds shine to color and design elements printed underneath, and Diamond 3D Smart Textures, available in multiple background patterns to mimic the feel of leather and other textures.
Foil Stamping: A traditional printing method to add an elegant shine to cloth and leather hardcover books. We use a hot foil pressing process to bond metallic foil to your cover. Hot foil stamping is available in silver, gold, red, blue, white gloss, and black gloss.
Add a dust jacket to hardcover books for a high-quality look. Book dust jackets are a key component in a bookshelf-worthy book, providing a chance to make a memorable first impression. They also protect our beautiful heritage-style fabric and leather hardcover books from dust, grease, residue, and incidental damage.
Dust jackets are removable, heavy paper covers that protect your book. They are typically printed in full color, and many dust jackets show off textural accents or glittering foil.
Our dust jackets are printed beautifully on heavyweight, 100# Gloss Text paper and laminated in either a glossy or matte finish.
Edge printing gives your book the look of custom sprayed edges without having to do it yourself. You can create a fully custom design that is printed directly on your book’s cut edges and let your readers be wowed by a stunning, limited-edition book.
Printed edges are an increasingly popular book customization option for special edition books. Our edge printing service is unique in that instead of using paint, our machine prints the color and design directly onto the cut edges for a crisp, clean look.
With printing on the inside of a book cover, you can add text and images to the inside cover of your paperback (perfect bound), coil bound or saddle stitched books. We add your custom text and design to the inside of both the front and back covers (think of the first page you see on the left-hand side when you open a book and the last page you see on the right-hand side at the very end of a book) to give you more real estate for author information, critics’ praise, even advertisements — anything you’d like to add on the inside cover.
Our newest book customization option adds even more flair to a special edition book. You can now include a fully custom design on the inside cover of your hardcover book. Capture your readers' attention as soon as they open the cover with our new printed endsheets and flysheets! When readers open their hardcover books, they will be wowed by the full-color graphics printed inside. You can also choose to print solid black or a combo of printed sheets and blank sheets.
