What is your book about?

Financially Empowered: Achieving Success Through Sacrifice is a personal, inspirational, self-help book for anyone looking to obtain financial success and generational wealth.

 

About the Author:

Author, Terrance Bacchus, is a Bentley University graduate who shares his life journey for creating wealth. Terrance grew up on the rough streets of Boston, Massachusetts and is the epitome of Boston Strong. He earned his way to the offices of corporate America with his commitment to education, hard work, and sacrifice. His journey will compel you to make the necessary sacrifices in your life to become financially empowered.

What inspires you to write?

Aspiring to make a difference is what inspires me to write. I am using my book as a platform to motivate young people to build a financial success plan, using fundamental and core concepts of sacrifice, good stewardship and financial discipline. 

 

How often do you write?

This is my first book and required a lot of my time.  While I don’t write on a regular basis, I often write things down on paper in case I decide to write a second book.

 

What, according to you, is the hardest thing about writing?

hardest thing about writing is being authentic and vulnerable with my personal stories. 

 

Have you ever experienced writer’s block?

Like many writers, there are times when you hit a wall on an idea or concept.   

 

Any tips you would like to share to overcome writer’s block?

Have patience and write things down as they come to mind. 

 

Describe your writing process. Do you have a routine?

I don’t have a routine, but the moment I have an idea, I stop what I’m doing and head to the computer to write it down.  It could last 10 minutes or take two hours.

 

Do you read much, and if so, who are your favorite authors?

Sadly, I am not a big reader. However, I am a big fan of inspirational books like Love Does by Bob Goff and Duke and Me by Richard Carrington. 

 

What is the most important thing about a book in your opinion?

The most important thing about a book is to deliver on its promise.

 

Any advice you would like to give to aspiring writers or authors looking to self-publish?

Self-publishing doesn’t have to be scary. It creates opportunity. Put in the time, effort, and energy to write a good book and the success will come.

 

What is the most rewarding thing about printing your book?

Finally having a finished product to share with my audience. I was so amazed at the quality of 48 Hour Books.
